There are two types of formal complaints at JDC West:
- Code of Conduct Violations: These are against a school or the Organizing Committee (OC). These are sent directly to the Board of Directors (BOD).
- “Disputes” (Handbook Violations): These are against a school or the Organizing Committee (OC). These are sent directly to the OC through a form on the website. If the dispute is against the OC, the dispute will be directed to the Board of Directors (BOD).
Complaints that are not for Code of Conduct violations or Handbook Violations (ie, suggestions for improvement to the competition) can also be submitted through either the Live Feedback form during the competition, or via the post-competition survey.
